Mr. Verdejo works hard as a fisherman. His meager income of about $66.00 a month during the fishing season is not enough to provide for the family's basic needs more so, the education of the children. His wife is a full-time homemaker. But every now and then accepts laundry job to help augment the family's income. They live in a house made of light materials, located along the coastal area. It has no sanitary facility and without safe water access. They buy water from peddlers. Ashley Nicole is the little bundle of joy of the Verdejo household. She is a toddler who is fondly called "Nicole" by her family and friends. Ashley Nicole is very fond of singing, dancing and playing with dolls. A healthy girl, Nicole still likes to be hugged, cuddled and carried by her parents especially her mother. Your kind sponsorship will surely create a spark of hope in the heart of this little girl. |
